What is the Annual Parish Meeting?
All parishes, whether or not they have a parish council, hold a meeting once a year to discuss the affairs of the parish. It is an opportunity for the Parish Council to report on what it's been up to during the year, for borough and county councillors and village organisations to make presentations, and for villagers to raise any concerns they may have.
When and Where is it Held?
The Annual Parish Meeting for West Hallam is normally held in May. The 2008 Annual Parish Meeting was held in the Powtrell Community Pavilion, Beech Lane, West Hallam on Wednesday 7 May 2008.
