Welcome to my page on the Parish Council’s web site.
Originally from Yorkshire, I moved to West Hallam in 1970 and taught at Scargill Junior School and then at Dallimore Road, Kirk Hallam. In the early 1970’s I was Chairman of the Wednesday Club and a WI member. I also joined Heanor Business and Professional Club (now Heanor and District Ladies Club) and am still a member of that organisation.
I took on Chairmanship of the Conservative Ladies Coffee Club in 1991, a post I still hold!
My husband and I enjoy holidaying in the UK and abroad
