As you may be aware, we are dealing with a local coronavirus outbreak in Ilkeston whereby four people who visited some of the town's pubs on 31 July or 1 Aug have tested positive for the virus.

One of the things we get most complaints about is speeding, whether on the High Lane or on the estate and in the village. Some years ago the Police helped set up some Community Speed Watches. They provided equipment and supervised the sessions, but then a year or two ago they withdrew this support and left the community to do their own speed watches. Changes to Gold Cards
Derbyshire County Council has announced temporary changes to the Gold Card scheme allowing elderly and disabled passengers free bus travel in the County.
